Nonexistence of classical steady Hele–Shaw bubble Original Research Article

This paper concerns nonexistence of steadily translating bubbles in a Hele–Shaw cell for small but nonzero surface tension. It is proved that for any fixed bubble velocity UU relative to the fluid velocity at infinity in the interval (2,∞)(2,∞), there can be no classical steady bubble solution.
