Local existence of the strong solutions for the full Navier–Stokes–Poisson equations Original Research Article

We study the full Navier–Stokes–Poisson equations for viscous polytropic fluids. We prove the existence and uniqueness of local strong solutions for all initial values satisfying some compatibility conditions. It is important that we allow the initial density to be vacuum.
