Abstract :
We study the following boundary value problem with a nonhomogeneous principal part ϕϕ: View the MathML source−div(ϕ(|∇u|)∇u)=μ0|u|p−2u+q(λ,x,u,∇u)in Ω Turn MathJax on with the Dirichlet boundary condition under certain assumptions on ϕϕ and qq when μ0μ0 is not an eigenvalue of the pp-Laplacian. The aim of this paper is to show a bifurcation result on a noncompact component of solutions for the above nonlinear equation.
