Variational approach to evolutionary free boundary problems Original Research Article

The analysis of evolutionary nonlocal problems represented by volume–constrained motion is discussed. In the physical sense, these problems can describe the motion of droplets on a solid plane. The variational approach called the discrete Morse flow combined with a fluid-dynamics model appears to be a suitable tool.
