Fragmentations, mergings and order: aspects of entropy

Eight types of thermodynamics and inequalities are discussed with reference to a generalised gas and black holes. Choices for the statistical entropy are considered along with systems whose heat capacity can be negative. Further, a formal relation between entropy and order is recalled.
