Abstract
The effective field theory within a probability distribution technique that accounts for the self spin correlation functions is used to study the magnetic properties of the ferromagnetic or ferrimagnetic bilayer (A–B) system described by the and (with the anisotropy D in the sublattice B) Ising model. The thermal behaviors of magnetizations, the magnetic hysteresis loops and longitudinal susceptibility are examined in detail.
