  • Abstract
    The existence of a bound state of five quarks with image content is still controversial. In this paper we focus on weakly decaying charmed pentaquarks and show how they can be searched for in high energy anti-neutrino interactions. By analyzing 2262 charged-current interactions with a muon of positive charge in the CHORUS detector, we performed a search for image production. Based on the null observation, the limit of image production is found as a function of different image lifetimes. The tightest bound is image at 90% C.L. for image lifetime equal to image. We outline also the excellent potentiality of such a search at a neutrino factory with an emulsion detector.
