The Klein-Gordon limit of the sine-Gordon model in the presence of kinks Original Research Article

We study the β → 0, H > Hc = 2mπ limit of the sine-Gordon model in the presence of a kink-inducing “magnetic field” H. The thermodynamic Bethe ansatz equations are solved, yielding a different bosonic field dispersion law than in the zero-charge sector. Some properties of the kink condensate are studied.
