On the thermal effective expansion of a scalar theory Original Research Article

We consider a scalar massless quantum field model, at finite temperature T, both renormalizable and asymptotically free. Focusing on the thermal equilibration process of some Higgs particle, several new aspects are brought out, regarding the hard thermal loop resummation program.
