Abstract :
Abstract — performance evaluation of multimedia (Video)
streaming over distributed networks has motivated efforts
across several research communities. This leads to the
development of various congestion control schemes. In
Distributed multimedia (Video) streaming, the important
questions to answer would be, will the congestion control
scheme is TCP-friendly? And will it control the selfish users
from dedicated bandwidth sharing? In this paper we analyze
the performance of DMSCC (Distributed Multimedia (Video)
Streaming Congestion Control), a congestion control scheme.
In order to evaluate we use, Network Simulator (version 2),
widely known as NS2, which is an event driven simulation
tool that has proved useful in studying the dynamic nature of
congestion control in Distributed Multimedia(Video)
Streaming .
