Abstract :
Increasing agricultural productivity is inevitable to meet the food needs of the growing population of the world and to maintain and increase production, fertilizer application, agricultural poisons, especially with copper base has grown over the past decade that has led to pollution of water and soil resources. There are several ways to reduce soil contamination which among the solutions proposed has been attention use of zeolites. In this study, the two regions with different agricultural use(arable and garden) composite sampling was done randomly. After sample preparation, the zeolite treatments(0,1,2.5,5,7%) were applied on soil samples. The study was conducted in completely randomized design with three replications. Different amounts of zeolite application on soil caused to increase soil acidity and decrease electrical conductivity, phosphorus and copper available. Important characteristics of soil and available copper are affected in high levels of zeolites as follows: In arable region: pH increased 14%, phosphorus, electrical conductivity, available copper decreased respectively 60%, 79% and 58%. In garden region: pH increased 10%, phosphorus, electrical conductivity; available copper decreased respectively 75%, 83% and 61%.
