Two remarks on “Expanding and Forwarding” by P. Solé

We make two remarks on a paper of Solé (this issue). First, we improve his lower bound on the expanding factor of the n-dimensional hypercube. Second, we point out how to improve his result on edge forwarding indices of graphs of genus g.
