On powers of circular arc graphs and proper circular arc graphs Original Research Article

In this paper it is shown that the class K of circular arc graphs is closed under the operation of power; this means, G ϵ K implies Gk ϵ K for any positive integer k Furthermore, Gk ϵ K implies Gk+2 ϵ K and if diam(Gk) ⩾ 4 then Gk ϵ K implies Gk+1 ϵ K.
