The effect of rainfall on traffic in North Eastern of Iran (case study : Bojnurd , Baskool cross road)

A traffic phenomenon is one of the complexities of urban communities,which has emerged after European industrial revolution as a result of expanded urbanization. Nowadays, traffic problem presents in every city, whether industrial and advanced or third-world and lagged cities. In this paper the effect of rainfall on traffic in Bojnurd in cold moths. The place of the study is Baskool (Khayyam) crossroad, that every day, in a specified time and in a specifiedspot data are gathered and using Excel and SPSS software, which had been used by similar researches with similar results, data from Bojnurd meteorological organization were analyzed and it was concluded that, given a constant rainfall and a variable temperature, as temperature increases traffic will decrease and vice versa
