Abstract :
Let image be a non-empty, bounded, linearly ordered set and image, image for image. A vector image is said to be a image-eigenvector of a square matrix image if image for some image. A given matrix image is called (strongly) image-robust if for every image the vector image is a (greatest) eigenvector of image for some natural number image. We present a characterization of image-robust and strongly image-robust matrices. Building on this, an efficient algorithm for checking the image-robustness and strong image-robustness of a given matrix is introduced.
