Abstract :
All managers, regardless of their position in organizational structure, have to make numerous decisions in their organization. In decision making process, each manager employs a unique way of thinking toward the issue that together with the nature of the ongoing issue, affects their decisions. Each of these decisions will have impact on organization’s activities and can improve or degrade the organization, so logical and correct decision making according to all affecting factors on the decision making process is crucial for every manager. So in this article I try to improve the quality level of managers’ decisions in Guilan’seducational organization by investigating the effective factors on decision making process in this organization. Our statistical population includes all of the managers in Guilan’s educational organization which were assistant, head of different organizational groups and directors and managers of regions and counties at that period of time. Also in this research, the number of managers was limited and I had access to all of them; so I included all of them in research and our sample is the same as our statistical population. According to the nature of our research, I used questionnaire as a tool for collecting information. This questionnaire included 24 questions that the first 4 questions were about personalinformation of respondents and the rest were related to research hypotheses. I have used descriptive statistics (pie chart) and inferential statistics (Gamma test) to analyze the gathered information. Most of the managers believe that it is not possible in their organization to gather the required information quickly and timely and usually their required information is not available in their organization. The results of the research also show that lack of correct and timely information prevents the mangers from reaching a correct and acceptable answer. Nearly all of managers said that having scientific information is necessary for making a correct and suitable organizational decision and you should not make these decisions only based on personalknowledge. Thus the results of the research shows that focusing on personalideas and knowledge will prevent the managers from reaching a correct and acceptable answer. Also the results prove that managers believe that environmental factors and forces can have a crucial role in management’s decision makings and lack of knowledge about these factors will prevent the managers from reaching a correct and acceptable answer.
