Abstract :
Ariskanalysistoolisdevelopedforcomputationofthedistributionsoffiremodeloutputvariables.Thetool,calledProbabilisticFireSimulator(PFS),combinesMonteCarlosimulationandCFAST,atwo-zonefiremodel.Inthiswork,thetoolisusedtoestimatethefailureprobabilityofredundantcablesinacabletunnelfire,andthefailureandsmokefillingprobabilitiesinanelectronicsroomduringanelectronicscabinetfire.Sensitivityoftheoutputvariablestotheinputvariablesiscalculatedintermsoftherankordercorrelations.Theuseoftherankordercorrelationsallowstheusertoidentifybothmodellingparametersandactualfacilitypropertiesthathavethemostinfluenceontheresults.Variousstepsofthesimulationprocess,i.e.datacollection,generationoftheinputdistributions,modellingassumptions,definitionoftheoutputvariablesandtheactualsimulation,aredescribed.
