    Thepositivelyengagedconnectionbetweenbladeanddiscofagasturbineishighlystressedbyfatigueandcreepfatigueloadings.Forthispurpose,anewcalculatingmethodbasedoninelasticfiniteelementanalysesconsideringthemaininfluencesondamagewasdevelopedatMPAStuttgart.Lowcyclefatigue(LCF)testswithcomponent-likespecimenshavebeenconductedforverification.ExperimentaldataandlifeassessmentresultsbasedontheSmith,WatsonandTopperparameterswerecomparedwell.
