Abstract
Eddycurrenttest(ECT)datacollectedfromthein-serviceinspection(ISI)ofpulledsteamgenerator(SG)tubeswereevaluatedintermsoftheprimarywaterstresscorrosioncrack(PWSCC)lengthanddepthevolution.Aftershotpeening,theevaluatedcracklengthandthenumberofcracksdidnotincrease,buttheEddycurrentvoltagesthatwererelatedtothecrackdepthincreasedcontinuously.Intheanalysisofallthetubesoftheplant,theevaluatedcracklengthssaturatedataround6mm,whilethevoltageofthedefectsincreasedwithtime.Asaresult,shotpeeningwasconsideredeffectiveforsuppressingcracklengthincrease,butnotsosuccessfulfromthepointofpreventingcrackdeepening.ItwasalsofoundthattubebundlesthatweresusceptibletoPWSCCwerelocatedinaspecialareadependingonthesteamgeneratorsoftheanalyzedplant.
