Abstract :
Oneofthemostimportantrequirementsinthedesignofpressurizedwaterreactor(PWR)istoavoidtheoccurrenceofcriticalheatflux(CHF).ThedesigncriteriaforPWRspecifythattheymustbeoperatedatacertainpercentagebelowCHFatalltimesandlocationssoastothecladdingtemperatureoffuelelementatsafevalues.Sointheprocessofsafetyassessment,CHFisoneofimportantthermal-hydraulicparameterslimitingtheavailablepower,whosesizedirectlyaffectssafetyandeconomyofPWRnuclearpowerplant.ThispaperdealswithasummaryofexperimentalresearchprogressonCHFofChinesePWR.ItmainlypresentsCHFexperimentalresearchesofΦ10fuelassembly,CHFexperimentalresearchesofstandardfuelassembly,andCHFexperimentalprogressofnon-uniformheatedrodbundles.ItshouldbeemphasizedthatitalsopresentsexperimentalresearchprogramsonCHFofChineseadvancedfuelassemblywithself-reliancecopyright.AllCHFdataobtainedwillbeusedfordesignimprovementofChinesePWRandR&DprogramofNewGeneration1000MWePWR.
