  • Abstract
    ThepaperaddressestheissueofcoldpressurisationduringaNon-LossofCoolantAccident(non-LOCA)andsteamlinebreakevents.Coldpressurisationisusuallyavoidedduringreactorstartupfromcoldandshutdowntocoldbutithastobeavoidedevenduringaccidentssothatconsequentialfailuresdonotoccur.Anon-LOCAevent,suchasisolationofcontainmentonaspurioussignalandtwomainsteamlinebreakshavebeenanalysed.Itisobservedthatthetransientbehaviourofthesystemissimilarintheseevents.Thispaperdiscussestheissueofcoldpressurisationintheseevents.
