Abstract :
Thereductioninturbulent,convectiveheattransferparametersobservedinsomesupercriticaldataandinexperimentswithcommongasescanbeduetoradialpropertyvariation,acceleration,buoyancyorcombinationsofthesephenomena,dependingontheconditionsoftheapplications.Todatecriteriafortheonsetsoftheseeffectshavebeendevelopedforverticalcirculartubes.Thisnotepresentsextensionsofthesecriteriatonon-circularductswithconstantcross-sectionsasinthecoolingchannelsofsomeadvancednuclearreactors.
