Abstract :
Thispaperdescribestheresultsofcorephysicstestinstart-upandpower-upoftheHTTR.Thetestswereconductedinordertoensureperformanceandsafetyofthehightemperaturegascooledreactor,andwascarriedouttomeasurethecriticalapproach,theexcessreactivity,theshutdownmargin,thecontrolrodworth,thereactivitycoefficient,theneutronfluxdistributionandthepowerdistribution.Theexpectedcoreperformanceandtherequiredreactorsafetycharacteristicswereverifiedfromtheresultsofmeasurementsandcalculations.
