    WeintendtoexplorethepotentialofHybridSolitonReactors(RéacteurHybrideàSoliton,RHYS)forproducingenergy.Inourcaseanencapsulatedlonglivingfissionreactorisdrivenbyaprotonaccelerator,whoproducesneutronsonatarget.Inafirstpartwegivethemathematicalapproachofsuchasub-criticalreactor,asanextensionofthe“SolitonReactor”whichwasrecentlyproposedbydifferentauthors,EdwardTeller,L.P.Feoktistov,andothers(H.Sekimotounderthename“Candlereactor”).Inasecondpartwegiveresultsofsimulationsandexplorethepossibilitiestocontrolsuchasystem.
