Theconcretemodulardrystoragetechnologiesarebecomingwidelyused,aimingatbettereconomicperformances.Withlongerperspective,therearestillkeyissuesrelatedtosafetystandardsinoperationandmaintenanceduringstorageandunloading/loadingfortransportation,long-termintegrityofthestoragecomponents.Ontheotherhands,duetothelackoftheexperimentalstudiesrelatedtotipping-overordropeventscenarios,itisveryimportanttoevaluatethecharacteristicsofthebehaviorofthecomponents,suchasthemulti-purposecanister(MPC)subjectedtoimpactloads.Therefore,weexecutedthedemonstrationdroptestprogramusingdouble-lidweldedMPCs,withtheaimofobtainingbasicdataforregulatingsafety.Thispaperintroducesthesummaryofourdroptestprogram.
