Abstract
KoreaAtomicEnergyResearchInstitute(KAERI)hasdevelopedtwomethodstohandletheproblemswhenaonetopPSAmodelusedinariskmonitorwasdevelopedthatcouldnotmatchthestructureofhousetrees.Thesetwomethodsare(1)thedevelopmentofaspecialgatecalleda‘conditiongate’and(2)theimplementationofanIf-Then-Else(ITE)logicinthePSAmodelstructure.Theproposedmethodswereappliedtoanexamplecase,e.g.,thestationblackout(SBO)accidentsequencesofaonetopPSAmodel.ItwasdemonstratedthatthesemethodscouldproperlyhandlethecomplexconditionchangesofasystemduringtheSBOaccidentsequencesbyusingtheproposedmethods.
