Abstract :
Plate-finheatexchanger(PFHE)isthedelegateoftheminiaturizationofheatexchangingequipment.AsthecoreofPFHE,plate-finstructureisfabricatedbyvacuumbrazing.Owingtothematerialmismatchingbetweenfillermetalandbasemetal,residualstressescanariseduringthebrazingprocessanddecreasethestructurestrengthgreatly.Therefore,estimatingthemagnitudeanddistributionofresidualstressanddiscussingitsinfluencefactorsfortheearlydesignandfabricationofplate-finstructurearedeemednecessary.Thispaperpresentedafiniteelementanalysis(FEA)ofbrazedresidualstressesforacounter-flowstainlesssteelplate-finstructure.Theeffectsofgeometricconditionsincludingbrazinggap,platethickness,finthickness,finpitch,finheightandfinlayersonresidualstresswereinvestigated.Thisworkprovidesareferencefordesignanddecreasingresidualstressforstainlesssteelplate-finstructure.
