Abstract :
ThedirectcouplingofaGasCooledReactor(GCR)withaclosedgas-turbinecycleleadstoaspecificdynamicplantbehaviour.ThisbehaviourisdescribedandillustratedthroughcomputeranalysesperformedatCEAwiththecomputercodeCATHARE.Thisanalysisrequiresa1Dcodeabletosimulatethewholereactor,includingthecore,thevessel,thepipingandthecomponents(turbine,compressors,heatexchangers).
