Abstract :
Thermalfatiguecrackingisobservedinsomecomponentsofnuclearpowerplants.Theresiduallifetimepredictionofcrackedcomponentsisnecessarytodeterminemaintenanceprograms.Anautomaticprocedureisdevelopedfor2DmodelingofmultiplecrackpropagationwithinthefiniteelementsoftwareCode_Aster®toevaluatethecrackgrowthrateandshieldingeffectsinamulticrackedstructureinthermomechanicalfatigue.Itconsistsinaglobalremeshingmethodtomodelcrackgrowthandincludesapropagationstrategybasedonthecracklengthincrement.Asetofparametricstudiesisanalyzedforacrackedpipetoevaluatetheinfluenceofgeometricalandloadingparametersontheresiduallifetimeofthecracknetwork.
