Numerical solution of differential and algebraic equations for a flow model with diffusion Original Research Article

Two algorithms are described for solving systems of differential and algebraic equations arising in mathematical models of solute and water flow along a tube with permeable walls. Some computational results comparing the two algorithms are presented.
