Interaction of superconducting vortices and asymptotics of the Ginzburg-Landau flow Original Research Article

We discuss the interaction of superconducting vortices in the gradient flow of the superconducting Ginzburg-Landau functional. Some conjectures are given and a result on the large time asymptotics of the flow due to the author and S. Demoulini is announced. A formula for the potential energy between vortices in the case of near critical coupling is given which has been computed by P. Shah.
