Global existence and blow-up for a quasilinear degenerate parabolic system in a cylinder Original Research Article

This paper deals with the conditions that ensure the blow-up phenomenon or its absence for solutions of the systems ut = Δuμ + νpeαu, νt = Δνν + uqeβν with homogeneous Dirichlet boundary data. The results depend crucially on the sign of the difference pq − μν and on the domain Ω.
