Frame wavelets with matrix dilations in L2(Rn) Original Research Article

In this paper, we obtain a necessary condition and a sufficient condition for a general wavelet with a matrix dilation to be a frame in L2(Rn). We extend the concept of frame wavelet sets and give their constructions. Several examples are presented and compared with some known results.
