Dominant and recessive solutions for second order self-adjoint linear difference equations Original Research Article

This paper establishes the existence of recessive and dominant solutions for oscillatory second order homogeneous linear difference equations. Growth properties and comparison results concerning these solutions are established. Such information is then used to generalize the limit point results in the literature.
