Global periodicity: An inverse problem Original Research Article

Given a positive integer pp, we develop a method to construct difference equations of order greater than or equal to 2 such that all solutions of which are periodic of the same period pp. The method of construction is based on a class of symmetric functions that we call “isovertible” functions.
