Abstract :
This short note is mainly a report on the recent findings on the connection between heterotic string theory, twistors and the Cantorian theory of space-time. The main results are that D=26 is only an approximation to the theoretically exact Hausdorff dimension of the transfinite version of the heterotic string theory for which we have D(−)=26.18033989 for the Bosonic field and D(+)=D(−)−16.18033989=10 for the Fermionic field. These values were found to be consistent with an electromagnetic fine structure constant given by .
