Protein energy landscapes as studied by a generalized-ensemble approach with Tsallis statistics

Recent uses of Tsallis statistical mechanics in investigations of protein energy landscapes are reported. The free-energy landscape of a small peptide is evaluated at various temperatures and an estimate for its characteristic temperatures calculated.
