Exact discrete compactlike breathers in soft φ4 potentials

We demonstrate the existence of exact discrete compact breather solutions in nonlinear Klein–Gordon systems. We show numerically that the breathers stability is related to the lattice boundary conditions, and to the coupling term, and the harmonicity parameter. Finally, we propose an electronic device allowing to verify experimentally these theoretical predications.
