Conservation laws and rational solutions of a coupled Toda equation and its related equation

Two results are presented in this paper. Firstly, infinitely many conservation laws of a coupled Toda equation and its related equation are obtained from their corresponding Lax pairs in a systematic way. Secondly, rational solutions of a three-coupled bilinear system related to the coupled Toda equation are deduced.
