The chaotic region of Lorenz-type system in the parametric space

A Lorenz-type system is introduced in this paper. The system contains as special cases the Lorenz system, Chen system and Lü system. The distribution of chaos of the system in the parametric space is numerically investigated. At the same time a set of conditions for possible existence of chaos are given, which guideline the range of searching chaos in the numerical simulation.
