A note on exact traveling solitary wave solutions of integrable Broer–Kaup (BK) equations in (2 + 1)-dimensional spaces

In this letter, the method of variation of parameters and the homogeneous balance method are improved and then applied to find traveling solitary wave solutions of integrable Broer–Kaup (BK) equations in (2 + 1)-dimensional spaces. Our method can also be used to solve other nonlinear partial differential equations.
