Abstract :
ABSTRACT: Lack of recognition and satisfaction of the needs of organizationʹs employees relates to low output, negligible profit-yielding and lack of achievement of objectives directly. Therefore, in order to motivate individuals, study of their needs must be dealt with. Function of establishment of motivation is one of the most important aspects of the process of human resources management which has been perceived less probably. Human behavior is complicated and an attempt to identify what motivates various employees has been studying by the behavioral sciences since a long time. Main purpose of the research is to study relationship between level of determining the needs and occupational involvement of employees of the Islamic Azad Universities of Mazandaran province. The statistical universe of the current research includes entire employees of the Islamic Azad Universities of Mazandaran provinceʹs west, numbering 570 individuals. Volume of the statistical sample is 230 individuals in number according to Morganʹs stable whom they have been selected by use of stratum- random sampling. Place domain of the current research is the Islamic Azad Universities of the Mazandaran provinceʹs west, including Noshahr, Chalous, Tonekabon and Ramsar. In order to collect data and information, two standard inventories of hierarchy of the employeesʹ needs (Joens and Phifer) and occupational involvement (Thomas Lavahel) have been used. Validity of the inventories was confirmed by consulting with the faculty members specialized in this field and itʹs reliability was affirmed by use of Chornbach Alpha Coefficient. In order to analyze the data, descriptive statistics was used for classification and preparation of diagrams and tables of the frequency of data and information connected with demographic features. Then, analysis of the researchʹs hypotheses was dealt with by use of perceptive statistics. With regard to normalization of the data, method of testing of the correlation coefficient and regression analysis was used. Results of research showed that there exists a significant simple and multiple relationship between levels of determining the needs and occupational involvement of employees. Finally, suggestions were presented considering the results of research.
