Abstract :
ABSTRACT:Presence of some microorganisms in auriferous soils indicates their resistance to the gold ions. These microorganisms can be used as bioindicator in order to discover the gold deposits. In this paper, for studying microorganisms of gold mines two gold mine soils were sampled from Pouyazarkan gold mine of Aghdare of Takab. In order to compare microorganisms of auriferous and non-auriferous soils, the garden soil was used as the control. For the isolation of bacteria and fungi NA, SDA and SEAwere used. Nine strains were isolated that were belongto six genera of Deinococcus, Micrococcus, Staphylococcus, Listeria, Roseomonas and Pseudomonas. The results showed that Bacillus, Actinomycete and fungi were not isolated from auriferous soil samples and there were somedifferences between microorganisms of auriferous and non-auriferous soils. The results of this study indicate the presence of microorganisms in Takab gold mine, which might be actively mediating a gold cycle.
