Abstract :
The classical trajectory method is employed to calculate the rate coefficient kr for the reaction (Heμ−)+ +He+He→(Heμ−He)++He at temperatures in the range 200⩽T⩽350 K. The obtained rates can be well fitted by the function kr = ATα exp(B/T) with A=4.3756×10−36 cm6/s, α=1.355 and B=539.0 K. The products (Heμ − He)+ are found in high vibrational states.
