Abstract :
Pionic decays of A = 4 and 5 hypernuclei are discussed for obtaining information about the nucleus-Λ potential. The results for the available decay widths support as a whole the notion the nucleus-Λ potential has a central repulsion not only in A = 5 but also in A = 4 hypernuclei.
