Zero sound and renormalization scale in the relativistic Hartree approximation for nuclear matter

A study of the density dependence of zero sound in nuclear matter has been performed in the framework of the relativistic Hartree approximation. We found that the zero sound is sensitive to the renormalization scale used and that it appears at much higher densities when a scale leading to a realistic value for the incompressibility parameter is used.
