Abstract :
In this article we consider Chern-Simons/Higgs theory coupled to three dimensional gravity. We demonstrate in a simple manner that both the field equations and the Einstein equations of this model can be reduced to a set of first-order differential (Bogomolʹnyi) equations, provided that we choose a specific eighth-order potential.
