A resolution of the cosmological age puzzle

We show that the recent observational data on Hubbleʹs constant and the age of the universe are consistent with a recently-proposed cosmological model based on general relativity with non-vanishing divergence for the energy-momentum tensor. This model considerably narrows the ranges over which the cosmological parameters may vary. Some other consequences of the model are also discussed.
