A time-independent way to probe D0D0 mixing at τ-charm factories

D0D0 mixing leads to the mass and width differences in the mass eigenstates of D0 and D0 mesons (measured by parameters xD and yD, respectively), but their magnitudes cannot be reliably predicted by the standard model. We show that it is possible to separately determine xD and yD through time-integrated measurements of the dilepton events of coherent D0D0 decays on the ψ (4.14) resonance at a τ-charm factory.
