Abstract :
Inverse scattering theory has been used to specify central and isospin dependent potentials from analyses of the complementary sets of differential cross sections from the 334.4 MeV 3He14C and the 72 MeV 14C3H reactions. A numerical inversion (conventional optical model search process) and a global inversion (fully quantal Lipperheide-Fiedeldey scheme) method has been used to to specify those interactions. The results of the two procedures are dramatically different.
