Abstract :
Inverse scattering theory has been used to specify central and isospin dependent potentials from analyses of the complementary sets of differential cross sections from the 334.4 MeV 3He14C and the 72 MeV 14C3H reactions. A numerical inversion (conventional optical model search process) and a global inversion (fully quantal Lipperheide-Fiedeldey scheme) method has been used to to specify those interactions. The results of the two procedures are dramatically different.
